The Zero Gravity chair is a unique lift and recline chair with three operating motors.
The Zero Gravity has the ability to lift you to a nearly standing position: an excellent feature for anyone with balance issues or weakness in the legs.
The way this chair reclines is what makes it unique and so very popular amongst our clients. Firstly, your legs are raised to be around 10 degrees higher than you hips using a simple four-button remote.
From there, you can then be tilted back into a “zero gravity” position with your legs raised up to 25 degrees higher than your hips with your back being only slightly reclined. This elevation is fabulous for those suffering with swelling or fluid retention in the feet, ankles, calves of knees.
From there, you can recline the back rest to any angle you like: potentially all the way to flat bed-like position.
Once reclined, this chair helps to alleviate pressure in the bottom and lower back by re-distributing your weight to other areas of the body.
